shiripal & venkat Architects

Shripal and Venkat Architects (SVA) is a Chennai-based architecture and design practice founded by principals Shripal Munshi and A Venkat. Its core competency spans architecture, master planning and interior design, with an additional product-design arm. Before establishing SVA, Shripal Munshi practised internationally — beginning in Hong Kong with HOK and then RMJM, where he worked across Hong Kong, Taipei, Shanghai and Singapore.

The studio's portfolio is led by residences and villas (including the VGA, Sango, Badhri and Beach villas and the Chary residence) alongside commercial work such as the OASYS corporate headquarters, a hotel and the SDNB college library. Munshi is an active voice in the profession, featured in industry interviews and billed as a speaker at Zak World of Facades and as curator of Design Debate Chennai.
