What's in the 8x4 ft range

Every design here is a full 8 x 4 ft sheet, the same size as a sheet of plywood or laminate: 32 sq ft per piece, twice an 8x2 panel. There are 450+ designs: 100+ patterned, 100+ marble and stone, 75+ plain colours and 55+ wood looks.

Thickness varies a lot: thin 1 to 3 mm sheets (150+), 6 mm (the most common, at 85+ designs), and thicker 12 and 16.5 mm boards, where MDF is the most common core. Where the core is listed, the biggest group is stone powder (100+), the base for the Lucento translucent range, followed by MDF (45+), including fluted MDF panels.

Grey leads the colours (100+), then brown (80+), with white, beige and plain colours well covered. Euro Pratik has the most (200+), and Bloom and Beautiful (45+), Color Box (25+) and GLO (25+) are well represented.

Is 8x4 right for your wall?

Good for

Large living room walls, double-height spaces, shop fronts, reception walls and exteriors: anywhere joints would spoil the look. Marble veins and big patterns look far more convincing without a joint every 2 ft.

Think about access

An 8x4 sheet may not fit in a passenger lift or round a tight staircase landing. Check the route from the gate to the wall before ordering. It takes two people to carry and fix each sheet, and a tempo or small goods vehicle, not a car roof, to bring them home.

Cut-outs

Switchboards, AC pipes and windows all mean cutting into a big sheet. Mark every opening on the wall and on the sheet before any cutting; one wrong cut on an 8x4 wastes far more than on a strip.

Outdoor use

150+ of these sheets are listed for outdoor use, a high share for louvers. For an elevation or compound wall, pick from those and ask about the right fixing for exterior walls.

Quantity check

Divide the wall area in sq ft by 32. A 12 x 10 ft living room wall is 120 sq ft, so about four sheets before openings; five gives room for cut-outs and a clean pattern match.

Do 8x4 sheets need a frame?

Thin sheets usually go straight onto a level wall with adhesive. The thicker fluted boards and outdoor installations often go on a frame. Ask which fixing suits the design.

What is a stone-powder panel?

A rigid composite sheet made from finely ground stone and a plastic binder, with a printed or textured face on top. The stone-powder sheets here are listed as translucent panels, so light can show through them.

Which colours are there?

Grey is the biggest colour here, then brown, and white, beige and plain colours are well covered too. Use the colour filter above to see only the neutrals.
