Seed Design Studio

Seed Design Studio is an independent architecture and design practice in Chennai, led by principal designer Subash Chandrababu. Working across architecture, interiors, furniture and design execution, the studio brings a small-scale, detail-led sensibility to private residences, hospitality spaces and adaptive renovations. Subash's architectural journey began at the School of Architecture and Planning, Anna University, in 2010, and he continues to teach foundational design there. The practice offers comprehensive design services spanning personalised private residences, large-scale concepts, specialised small-scale projects and restorations. Selected work includes INDIE House (a live-work home in Chennai), Moon Estate Guest House in Yercaud, a Mylapore apartment interior, and the Hotel Iris banquet hall.
