Sandlab is a Chennai-based architecture, interior and furniture design studio founded by partners Sejal Kankaria and Anish Anbuchelvan. Working under the line “Curating Spaces, Creating Stories,” the practice designs homes that feel personal and grounded, quietly attuned to tradition and heritage. Its residential work favours warm, earthy contemporary interiors that weave in vernacular craft (Kota stone, Kalamkari murals, Chettinad columns, woven cane, custom solid-wood joinery) alongside bespoke furniture and considered natural light. The studio's 1,400 sq ft Chennai apartment, Sitril, was featured by Architect and Interiors India.
