BILLBOARDS is a Chennai-based cross-disciplinary design practice founded in 2019 by principal architect Arun Prabhu N G (Anna University). The studio describes itself as an advanced research and design lab working across architecture, art and communication design. Its portfolio spans hospitality - specialty-coffee cafes such as Eventide and the True Black series - alongside an eco-luxury resort, residences and holiday homes. The practice is known for experimental micro-architecture, including a widely-published portable detachable housing unit and the Chaigaadi mobile tea stall, exploring ingenious use of limited space. Arun Prabhu N G is a TEDx speaker and a Hindustan Times 30-Under-30 Design Icon.
