MANI IYER

Architecture Incorporated is a Chennai-based architecture and interior-design practice led by Mani Iyer (Subramani Iyer), who earned a first-class Bachelor of Architecture in 1987 from IIT Roorkee. He founded the firm in 1989 — originally a partnership with offices in Chennai, Trivandrum and Bangalore — and has been its sole proprietor in Chennai since July 2000. The studio treats each building as a complex sculpture with people at the focus, where plasticity is tempered by strong logic. Its work spans luxury villas, group housing and apartments, office buildings and retail, hotels and service apartments, hospitals and healthcare, educational institutions, and corporate, residential and retail interiors. Several projects have been featured in leading architectural magazines.
