Faisal Manzur Design Studio

Faisal Manzur Design Studio (FMDS) is an architecture and interior design practice based in Madras (Chennai), India. Founded in 2021 with humble beginnings from principal architect Faisal Manzur's own home, the studio later moved into a 78-year-old post-colonial property reimagined in a mid-century-modern spirit. Led by Faisal Manzur alongside a team of architects and interior designers, the practice follows a 'Traditionalizing the Modern' philosophy aimed at curated, simple yet refined, sustainable yet stylish spaces. FMDS takes on projects across scales — private homes, apartments, an oceanfront house, and commercial cafe fit-outs such as Sage and Lavender. The studio's work has been featured by ELLE Decor India.
