A Design Co. (ADC)

A Design Co. (ADC) is an award-winning Madras (Chennai) based design studio founded in 2014 by Gowri Adappa and Nikhith Ashok, offering design consultancy across architecture and interiors. Its work spans residential homes and a wider spectrum of typologies including environments for work, study, rest and recreation.

Nikhith Ashok, co-founder and Principal Architect, is an architect and furniture designer who graduated from the School of Architecture and Planning, Anna University. He leads the architecture and larger fit-out projects handled by the studio, and is a registered member of the Council of Architecture (India).

The practice has been named an AD100 firm by Architectural Digest India and received the Young Designer Award (Indian Architect & Builder, 2017).
