VIR MDF Pre-Laminated MDF — 168 Shades, 8×4 ft × 18 mm

VIR's pre-laminated MDF range covers 168 decorative shades on 8×4 ft boards at 18 mm thickness — woodgrains, solid colours, fabric textures and stone-look surfaces, factory-bonded so no site finishing is needed. Every board is interior grade, E1 emission class, and carries the BIS ISI mark to IS:14587, the Indian standard for pre-laminated medium density fibre board.

The MR range

48 of these shades ship on VIR's moisture-resistant (MR) substrate, marked with an MR prefix on the shade code. Filter by Moisture Resistant to see them. Use the MR boards where humidity is a factor — kitchen carcasses, utility areas, wash-zone vanities — and the standard boards for wardrobes, partitions, ceilings and bedroom furniture.

What pre-laminated means for your build

The decorative surface is pressed onto the board at the factory, so the sheet arrives finished on both faces. That removes the laminate-pasting step on site: less labour, no adhesive failure at the edges, and a consistent surface across every sheet in the batch.
